- Potol/Parwal - 10
- Green chilly - 5 (or more)
- kalanjee - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1/4 tsp
- salt to taste
- Mustard oil - 4 tbsp
- Peel the parwals.Slit them with a knife.
- Heat 3 tbsp of oil.
- Add Kalanjee,Parwal.,green chilies and salt.Fry them till the parwals are almost done.
- Add turmeric powder.Fry for some more time till the parwals are well cooked.
- Add sugar and cook for 30 secs.
- Now remaining 2 tbsp mustard oil on top and switch off the flame.
