Soya Manchurian
Soya Manchurian
No one likes soya nuggets in my friens and family circle.I remember my college days when we friends used to plan for eating out when soya nuggets were on the menu.In my family too no one likes to eat this. But this recipe everyone from my family and friens love to eat.So sharing this recipe here.

Ingredients:
  1. Soya nuggets - 200gms approx
  2. Onion - 2 cut into cubes
  3. Capcicum - 1 cut into cubes
  4. Green chilly - 5-6 or more according to your taste
  5. Spring onion - 1 cup finely chopped
  6. Ginger - 1 tbsp finely chopped
  7. Garlic - 2 tbsp finely chopped
  8. Tomato sauce - 4 tbsp
  9. chilly sauce - 1 tbsp
  10. Soya sauce - 2 tsp
  11. corn flour -1 tbsp
  12. salt to taste
  13. oil -2 tbsp
Method:

Heat water in a sauce pan.Add salt.Wait till it's boiling.Switch off the flame and add soya nuggets in it.Let them be there for 20 mins. Then take out the soya nuggets and squeeze out the excess water.
Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai and fry the soya nuggets in it.Add 1 tsp soya sauce while frying. It will give a nice color.Keep the fried soya nuggets aside.
In the same kadai, heat remaining 1 tbsp oil. Add chopped ginger and garlic. Then add onion. Fry in high flame. When the onions are transparent, add the capcicum and green chilly.Fry everything in high flame for few mins. Continuously stir while frying.
Now add tomato sauce,1 tsp soya sauce and chilly sauce.Mix well.
Add 2 cups of water and let the gravy boil.Add salt if required.Be careful as the sauces are already containing salt.Dissolve corn flour in little water.Add this when the gravy is boiling to get the desired consistency.

Add spring onion just before switching off the flame.Mix well.
